Travel Holdings, Inc. Opens a New York City Office - Industry Veteran Ron Neuman Named President, Corporate Trade & Affiliate Services
Orlando/NY, February 2, 2005 - Travel Holdings, Inc., the only on-demand, worldwide, multi-channel travel distribution network, named industry veteran, Ron Neuman to the position of President, Corporate Trade & Affiliate Services. Mr. Neuman will be headquartered at the Company’s recently opened Madison Avenue office. In this capacity Mr. Neuman will oversee Travel Holdings' explosive expansion in distribution-trade partnerships, as well as the implementation of the Company’s growth strategy for affiliate relationships.

Prior to joining Travel Holdings, Inc., Mr. Neuman was the President of GTA/USA (Gullivers Travel Associates, North America), and before that he was the Vice President, Global Sales for Accor Hotels & Resorts.

Mr. Neuman’s previous experience includes the repositioning of GTA USA to become one of the leading tour operators in North America, the development and implementation of Accor’s sales strategies and sales efforts in the corporate, leisure, FIT consortia, travel agency and meeting and incentive markets. He also assisted with the opening of several Accor hotels in the U.S. including Sofitel’s flagship hotels in New York, Philadelphia, Washington DC and Chicago. Mr. Neuman was instrumental in building the Accor International Sales organization. In addition, Mr. Neuman has industry experience with Sheraton, Omni and Best Western hotels in the areas of hotel operations, food & beverage and sales. He has a Master’s degree in hotel administration from J&W University.
