Travel Holdings, Inc. appoints Alexia Renedo as Managing Director, Sales, Continental Europe
Orlando, October 18, 2006 - Travel Holdings, Inc. has named Alexia Renedo Managing Director, Sales for Continental Europe for the worldwide travel distribution company, which provides domestic online travel and wholesale tourism globally.
Renedo's role at Travel Holdings will be to oversee a team of regional Sales Directors within Europe while managing the development of the region's travel product and increase the network of customers distributing Tourico Holidays North America, Europe, Middle East, Asia and Latin America product expansion. Her years of experience as a business development and travel industry executive have included roles at Destinations of the World, Gulliver's Travel Associates (GTA) and Iberojet.
"Alexia will be instrumental in Travel Holdings' growth and expansion of our European business into other key markets such as Latin America and Asia," said Uri Argov, president of Tourico Holidays. "Coming in with years of experience in the travel industry, Alexia will serve as our foundation for Europe in all aspects from product development and sales to monitoring regional production to ensure growth for Travel Holdings."
Renedo previously served as Regional Sales Manager for Destinations of the World, a wholesale tour operator out of London where she was responsible for building a portfolio of products in relevant worldwide markets, establishing the company's European arm and managing the pricing strategy for the region. Prior experience includes serving as business development manager and group reservations executive for Gulliver's Travel Associates.
