ORLANDO, Fla. – June 12, 2014 – Tourico Holidays, a global leader in wholesale travel brokerage, today announced that it has partnered with nSights to host a New York City hotel workshop at the Crowne Plaza Times Square on Thursday, June 12th. The event is expected to draw over 60 local New York hoteliers and is designed to provide insight on Tourico travel products, introduce the audience to Tourico’s new booking engine and discuss key NYC tourism drivers.
“Tourism is booming in New York City – with more than 50 million people visiting the city last year – and we want our hotel partners in the area to know our global reach can help them increase sales even further,” said Neil Emerson, Senior Vice President of Product Development for Tourico Holidays. “Our upcoming event will allow us to hold region-specific discussions with our preexisting partners – and also give us an opportunity to reach new hotel suppliers in the area and introduce them to our technology and operations.”
The New York City workshop is a great forum for Tourico’s hotel partners to get an update on the global demand for the city. During the workshop, Tourico will also highlight how best to work with their distribution model and how New York hotels can creatively partner with Tourico.
The NYC event is one in a series of hotel events that Tourico has been hosting throughout the year. Previous workshops have been held in Orlando, Hawaii, Mexico, Buenos Aires, Sao Paulo, Dominican Republic, Chile and most recently in London on June 5th – where over 50 key London Hotel Partners attended. The workshop events are being scheduled for the remainder of 2014 and 2015 on a weekly basis across North America and Europe.
