Tourico Holidays Travel Academy Graduates First Class of Industry Leaders - Tourico Holidays

Orlando, Fla. June 21, 2010 Tourico Holidays, a global leader in travel wholesale, today announced that it has graduated the first 27 students from its 10-week Travel Academy program, and that it has extended each graduate an opportunity to become a member of the company’s growing team of global travel executives.

The Tourico Holidays Travel Academy, which launched in January 2014, provides recent college graduates with valuable travel industry skills – including negotiation management, problem-solving skills, user training for various software programs, presentation planning, and project implementation.  Students also receive full benefits, base pay, housing, meal plan, laptops, cell phones and transportation and entertainment in the Orlando area.  Upon completion of the program, graduates have the opportunity to interview for positions in Product Development, Sales, Marketing and Operations.  Every fully qualified and successful student receives an offer from Tourico Holidays to work at any number of offices located around the world.  Academy graduates spend their first months in Tourico Holidays’ Orlando headquarters before being deployed out to various offices – such as those in London, Hong Kong and Buenos Aires.

“The goal of the Academy is to create a comprehensive training program for talented young minds to break into the travel industry with Tourico Holidays,” said Uri Argov, Founder and CEO of Tourico Holidays. “With this phenomenal in-house program, the high caliber of talent we’re recruiting will be the driving force this company needs to maintain its 30% year-over-year growth for another 20 years.”

Tourico’s January class was the first of four yearly sessions designed to train upcoming leaders in the travel industry. The next Academy session starts July 14 at Tourico Holidays headquarters in Orlando. Those interested in applying must do so online at www.THTravelAcademy.com, and then pass a series of interviews and assignments. Students admitted to the program will receive salary, housing, a meal plan, a laptop, and full benefits.
